Call for papers

There will be two broad themes for the conference this year:

Day One: The relationship between critical and community psychology, and the way our values impact on our practice.
Day Two: Mental health in our communities; campaigns, projects, initiatives, including the role of recovery

We would be delighted to hear from anyone interested in delivering a paper or making a presentation on:

How you are expressing community or critical psychology approaches in your own practice, work, research or thinking (any topic)

Mental health in our communities

We welcome papers or presentations discussing any aspect of research, practice or their experience in relation to either theme (and please note the first theme is open to all topics and not limited to mental health). Sessions should be no longer than 30 minutes, and all papers should allow time for discussion. We also welcome proposals for longer time periods for other types of sessions, such as workshops.

Papers or ideas for sessions should be sent to Grant and Rebekah, please include:

Presenters
Title of presentation
Summary of content of presentation (300 words maximum please)
Session requirements (such as time needed, or any other requests relating to the proposes presentation)

All proposals will be reviewed by a subgroup of the organising committee; we aim to be as inclusive as possible. The deadline for submitting proposals is Friday 16th May 2008
